1. How do I know if I qualify as a key worker?

2. Is KeyworkersDirect a completely free service?

Yes, to all key workers. All you are required to do is complete the registration page.

3. How do I refer a business to receive a £20 voucher?

It is simple: give us the details of the business/service that you regularly use on your high street; we will contact them and discuss ways in which they can support key workers through KeyworkersDirect; and, if that business completes registration and publishes listing, we will reward you with a £20 voucher.

4. How do I know that my referred business has become active with KeyworkersDirect.co.uk?

If a business (or businesses) you have referred lists its business with Keyworkers Direct Ltd and KeyworkersDirect.co.uk, we will send an e-mail to you and your account will show the status of your referral. You can log into your KeyworkersDirect account and monitor the status of all referrals at anytime.

5. What can I use my voucher(s) for?

We currently send vouchers that can be used in all major shopping centres. The vouchers use Mastercard technology that could be used in local high street shops that use a Mastercard terminal. (At the discretion of individual businesses and shops.)

6. Can I refer a friend or other colleagues who qualify as key workers?

Yes, through the ‘Tell a key worker’ page.

7. Can I give you feedback for your site, with any suggestions of information that we might want to see?

Yes, you can send your requests through at ‘make a comment/suggestion’; please see: 'Contact us' page – Feedback.

8. Can we give you testimonials on our experience of KeyworkersDirect.co.uk?

Yes, your feedback is invaluable to us and helps us create a better service for our key workers. If you want to submit a testimonial, we can post this on the website, with a picture of yourself (optional). See 'Contact us' page.

9. What content is in the e-bulletins?

KeyworkersDirect do not believe in spam. The e-bulletins that we send out contain a micro directory listing with business services listed specific to your location. There is also our blog information and featured business information.

10. How often is the e-bulletin sent?

The KeyworkersDirect e-bulletin is sent out weekly.

11. Can we opt out of this service at anytime?

Yes, you can. You have full control over your account and can opt out of KeyworkersDirect.co.uk at any time.

12. What happens if I receive a bad service from a business advertising with Keyworkers Direct Ltd and KeyworkersDirect.co.uk?

We welcome this feedback and have featured a feedback button on each listing. We will investigate if the business has abused the listing process with Keyworkers Direct Ltd and KeyworkersDirect.co.uk.

13. Will I be contacted by any 3rd parties when registered with KeyworkersDirect?

No (unless otherwise stated). All key worker information is retained and secured by KeyworkersDirect.

 

FAQ: Businesses

1. How do I register my business details?

Click on ‘Businesses’ page.

2. How long does it take to upload my company details on to the directory, once published?

Your business details will be populated in the directory as soon as you have paid your annual membership in full and have received an e-mail confirming that your membership is now live. This may take up to one working day.

3. How do I know that my registration has been successful?

You will receive confirmation via e-mail congratulating you on your successful registration. We will also supply your account login details (Keep them safe and secure at all times).

4. Can I refer a business if I am not a registered with KeyworkersDirect

No, you will need to register or contact one of the team.

5. Will you incentivise a business if they refer another business within the KeyworkersDirect.co.uk directory?

Yes. We will pay £20 through an invoice process at the end of each month. It takes up to 30 days to complete and pay the invoice. Each business that is involved with us is supplied with a unique business code that allows us to ensure the referral fee process is correct.

6. How long is the business membership once the listing is active?

Standard membership is 12 months. We will inform you before expiration of your listing. As a business, you will have to inform us that you no longer want to be involved in supporting the key worker community by working with us. If you do not contact us after we have sent our email, and before the expiration of your listing, we will take an automated payment for another year.

7. How do the weekly e-bulletins work?

Each registered key worker will receive a weekly e-bulletin specific to his/her town/postcode, informing him/her of the businesses offering special offers; click ‘Businesses’ page to find out more. This is done using a micro directory listing, which is non-intrusive and gives the key workers choice over what they require. There are opportunities for businesses to have a feature within the bulletin.

8. Can my business have a wider coverage than just one area?

Yes, although this is not always necessary for every business; it depends on criteria. ‘Contact us’ to find out how this works.

9. I have more than one business, do I have to pay for each business to be within the directory?

Yes, each business has a separate address – the e-bulletins and search facility will recognise this information.

10. Can I cancel my membership at any stage?

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any stage. You can log into your account and can take your listing offline. You have full control over your account.

There is a 14-day cooling off period; afterwards no refund is possible.

11. Can I update my details/content throughout my 12 months membership?

Yes, you have full control over your content and images, which can be changed at any time. This allows you to update any special offers that you are running at a specific time; great for weekly offers/promotions and also for seasonal promotion.

We do not believe in static advertising. We want your business to experience control over your listing.

12. Can every listing have embedded media?

Yes. It is one of the most powerful ways for your business to market the service provided.

13. What is the extra cost for embedded media?

It is included in the yearly fee of £249 + VAT *

We do not get involved with the filming of the business, unless assistance is required - in which case, please 'Contact us'.

14. What are the costs for banners on the site and e-bulletins?

We can provide various campaigns to suit budget.
